How the categories are organised
Every find on the sheet belongs to exactly one category, so the counts you see are real buckets rather than marketing numbers. Shoes and hoodies carry the most rows, which matches what buyers search for most; bags, headwear and accessories are smaller but faster to research because a single item rarely has three batches to compare.
Category pages are built for the moment you already know roughly what you want. If you know the label but not the category, use a brand hub instead and let the wall do the filtering.
A sensible way to start
Pick one category, shortlist two or three finds, and check whether each carries a QC set. That single habit removes most of the risk from a first haul and teaches you what a good row looks like before you scale up.

Do category counts change?
Yes. Counts are rechecked on the status date shown on each page and move as rows are added or repaired.
Are categories the same as brands?
No. A category is what the item is; a brand is who it is associated with. Use both — categories for browsing, brands for targeting.
